Welcome to Hidden Meadows!
COLOR COMBINATIONS
A benefit of raising merles (because you can’t breed a merle to a merle) is that instead of just being a “parti poodle” breeder, I will now have an incredible variety of color combinations that poodles can come in, plus a few new ones! There will be parti’s, solids, phantoms, parti phantoms (tri-colors), and merle phantoms!!!
Solid
These poodles are one color throughout their whole body. They could be black, white, brown, cream, blue, or red.
Parti
These Poodles are multicolored dogs with a coat coloring of at least 50% white hair and patches of one other coat color. These patches can be black, brown, cream, blue, or red and can be anywhere on a Poodle’s body.
Phantom
These Poodles are similar to Parti Poodles in that they both have two different colors incorporated into their coats. Phantom Poodles often have a base color that brings in a secondary color that highlights the markings.
Parti Phantom
These poodles have a white base with patches of one color and a secondary color complimenting it.
Merle Phantom
These poodles have merle coloring with complimenting colors.
Merle Parti Phantom
These poodles have a white base with patches of merle phantom coloring.
